Well, what is confirmed is that there will be two loco hauled diagrams on the Saturday 23rd as follows:

Diagram 1 (booked 6xTSO & DVT)
1G92 0928 Norwich - Lowestoft
5G91 1028 Lowestoft - Norwich
1G94 1125 Norwich - Lowestoft
1G93 1615 Lowestoft - Norwich
5G96 1714 Norwich - Lowestoft
1G95 1820 Lowestoft - Norwich

Diagram 2 (booked 5xTSO & DVT)
1G64 1025 Norwich - Lowestoft
5G63 1126 Lowestoft - Norwich
5G94 1630 Norwich - Lowestoft
1G97 1745 Lowestoft - Norwich

The rumors are that 37419 & another 37 will top and tail Diagram 2 as 5 MK3 TSO's is within 419s ETH Index of 30 (MK3 TSO = 6).

As to what will happen remains to be seen, but I can see there being alot of frothing within the next 7 days...

I think it'll all fizzle out into nothing as per most of these 'flaps', 419 and 425 top and tail are now quoted...

I'm sure that second diagram will just be formed of a unit lash up, like it always has been. What is more likely is that that 47828 and 37419 would be used on the other first diagram, as the Yarmouth Drags have been cancelled and replaced by a bus.

A few years ago and you would have nearly passed out at the prospect of a 37-er on a service train.

Saw those 37s on Sellafield recently, didn't know they were off for scrap. Saw the 20s and dead 37s make one helluva racket through Preston, I was unfortunately already on 390048 waiting to leave and didn't know they were coming until they opened up. What a fantastic noise!

37402 returning would be interesting for me, as that's one of those that worked to Rhymney that got away. Shall be keeping an eye on developments...

Just to elaborate on the gen that Chester is unfairly holding back from us, 57302/304 are reportedly to work the Sizewell 'coals' tomorrow. If they do, they will work over to Norwich. If not, frothfest.

But at the moment, not even the guy from Yorkshire who apparently has all the contacts knows anything. But I am looking forward to 37419/425 not producing, just to see a few people on the groups get egg on their faces after saying that these locomotives were "confirmed" to be working.

Don't know what you mean there? My opinion from the start is that it wouldn't happen, I've just been relaying 'gen'/'bollocks' from elsewhere on the net. A post on WNXX/Snappys forum suggests that 'something' would work to Norwich via the Sizewall, as such I posted it on here.
