Was going to send you a text earlier Andy to say it was at Wembley this evening. Proves that Freightliner are able to provide a daily locomotive, especially coming up to the olympics.

66420 has rescued a 90 at Ipswich on 1P56 this evening. Any ideas what the errant 90 is?

90008, the set deconfigured however these days a run around is out the question. 66420 dragged the train to Ipswich with passengers being detrained there, 90002 went light to Ipswich to collect the set to go into Norwich station to drop the catering supplies off and then 90008 will take the set to Crown Point.

I stand corrected it was just the 1503/1650/1843 that was hauled. Should be the same again today and for the next 5 weeks as Mr S has stated.

It has been pointed out on another forum that today marks the 24th Anniversary of the first revenue-earning passenger run by a Class 90. 90003 worked the 1513 Crewe - Euston via Bescot with 86413 DIT for insurance.

It has been reported elsewhere that 48 will come off 1K39 with 57315 working the ECS. But I bow to anybody elses knowledge on this.

One assumes that it is allocated to the usual 1503/1650/1843 turn today?

57315/307 been sighted working Crewe-Wembley.

If 90048 is getting ripped tonight, surely logic would be to swap 90s at Crewe rather than rip one off and send another down to Wembley.

It would seem then that there hasn't been a swop. Besides even if a 57 did the empties there is no reason why the 90 couldn't stay on the back.

90048 worked 5A39 back to Wembley, 90043 has high engine hours so will likely replace 90048 at somepoint.

No Yarmouth drags today. 'One under' at Diss earlier, both diagrams caped.

Few guys from Liverpool have gone down, and their day is over already.
